About me

“The only thing you can buy that makes you richer is travel”

Born in Bruges in 1992 my life journey took off in one of the most beautiful places in the world. I might be a little bit biased, but I have visited quite a few cities by now and I still love Bruges the most. I’ve started going to school in a small town called Adegem, followed by middle school at Maldegem where I obtained a degree in Sciences-Mathematics. I joined the Royal Belgian Air Cadets when I was 16 years old. After three years in the cadets, I was selected to join the International Air Cadet Exchange (IACE) which gave me three weeks in the UK amongst an international group of cadets. After my middle school I found it was time to spread my wings and live in another country for a while. I moved to the Netherlands and started studying Aerospace Engineering at the Technical University of Delft. Through the university I was able to meet people from all over the world, of which some became very good friends. These friendships made me curious to discover new places meet new people. After obtaining my Master’s degree I had enough free time to finally start the travel blog I’ve been dreaming of. This is the result. All of the pictures on my blog are my property. I either shot them with my iPhone (the worse quality ones) or with my Canon (the perfect quality ones 😀 ).

The only thing you can buy that makes you richer is travel. It’s almost a cliché by now but it is really true. To me, my blog serves as an inventory of the places I’ve been. To you, I hope it may be a source of inspiration and a help to plan your own travels. Be sure to follow meetourplanet_official on Instagram & MeetOurPlanet on Facebook!

Oh and do not steal my pictures. I will find you!

Enjoy exploring,

I’m a journalist by profession & I’ve written for major media outlets. I’m creating an infographic (related to travel) with the help of designer and I would like to co-produce the infographic with your blog (meetourplanet.com), Would you be interested in partnering with me on this?, there is no fees involved in this.

After publishing the infographic, I’ll do promotion in different news outlets and press release sites, so both sites will get benefit with this.

Let me know if you’re interested, so that we can discuss further.

    Thank you

    1. Hi!
I am interested in your work, could you explain it a bit more please? (for example: why are you creating the infographic, what designers are helping you? ). I would also like to know who you work for or what you do, what my involvement would be exactly
      etc 🙂 .

      Kind regards,
